Dogs in Brazil is a shelter devoted to saving street animals in Brazil. We take in injured/diseased dogs & cats that desperately need human help after being abandoned by their owners or born in the streets. In 2019, we rescued two horses and two cows.  We have been rescuing for 20 years but only became an official charity after the devastating mudslides and floods that occurred in January 2011.

We have gained a great amount of support through Facebook and the blog, which has kept our charity operating. If you would like to help us look after our animals and save more, please use these links to make a donation. All amounts shown in US dollars.

A $50 donation helps pay for medication and vaccines, while $100 or more will help to pay for higher medical costs (surgeries, diagnostic exams and ongoing treatments.
