This is Henry. He was just sitting in the street waiting for help.
We found him like this… Today he is nothing but smiles. We found Henry young, at just two years.
But a brutal beginning had aged him, as he walked and looked like an old dog. He was incredibly depressed and had to completely learn how to smile, bark, and play. He was abandoned as little more than a puppy and later picked up by a mentally ill man, who abused him. After a few weeks of intense recovery, he still suffered from anemia and treatment was ongoing. His mange cured and his fur started to grow back.
Smiling lessons! Nearly there, Henry…
Henry is now called ‘Happy Henry’. We see some big smiles now and he has completely overcome his depression.
